Meet Dr. Marcus Bernini (Osteopathy, UK)*

BSc(Hons)Ost U.K. Registered Osteopath (GOsC, General Osteopathic Council, UK) British Osteopathic Association Member (BOA)
Marcus graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2007.
Prior to being an osteopath, Marcus was a professional rugby player. His other sporting achievements included, South of England Junior Judo champion, representative levels at rugby and athletics (decathlon).
Marcus had to cut his professional sporting career short due to a serious spinal condition, which lead him into the field of osteopathy, as he realized that optimizing the biomechanics helped him dramatically improve his condition without surgery.
His career history includes working in many sports clinics in London, treating many high level athletes as well as people from all other walks of life. He was also a personal trainer for 10 years. Marcus then went on to build a successful clinic in Thailand for 4 years and has worked here in Singapore since July 2015.
He specialises in chronic long term problems and all sports injuries as well as headaches and migraines.
His initial goal is to get you out of pain but his belief is that pain or injury can only be fully treated if the contributory and compensatory factors are also treated. He treats the condition by treating the mechanics and body systems of the individual in front of him to achieve the goals they have in life. This, together with health education, gives his patients maximum function and life enjoyment.
Outside of work, he can be found practicing MMA and inventing his own training exercises, as well as learning and training for sprinting on the track and explosive sports. After a career of being an illustrator, he now enjoys drawing caricatures. You may also bump into him at the variety of entertainment shows Singapore has to offer.
